📚 GC TMC The 1072nd Meeting

Tonight's theme is "If It Were Me" - a journey into historical moments through imagination and role-play.

We could choose a person and a historical moment to feel it in an authentical way. Before this meeting, everyone submitted their answers about which historical figure and moment they would choose to experience.

Format: Role-play with two modes:

• Easy Mode: Choose a role (not necessarily human - animals speak English too!)
• Hard Mode: Choose a role + age (teenager, adult, senior) and match your voice/expression to the age

Suggestion: Could reduce head movement for more polished delivery.

Opening: "Have you ever read the story of the Three Little Pigs? One pig built a house with grass, another with wood - easy and fast. But only the brick house stayed strong."

• ❌ Reprint? It's 10pm, print shop closed!
• ✅ Found daughter's speaker with white margin! Used it to carefully cover the wrong parts like a scientist doing an important experiment!

Call to Action: "Before you choose the 'smart' shortcut, think about it - Stupid or Smart?"

What Hunter Did Well:

• Used TWO storytelling techniques - Three Little Pigs fable + personal real story
• Great passion and engagement with audience
• Excellent vocal variety - pauses, speed changes, silence
• Good body language and interactions
• Connected the message to everyone's daily life choices
• Presented conflict and tension effectively

Highlights:

• Praised Bella's creative preparation with Easy/Hard modes and magic tool
• Every TT speaker had at least 20 seconds to think
• Some topics were very challenging - more thinking time would help
• Brother Bing showed very fast thinking
• Hunter acted as a very active, comfortable senior teacher style

Highlights:

• Brother Bing introduced background well and thanked all the monkeys at the end - good "祝酒词" structure
• Julie showed dedication despite being a guest - tried her best
• Hunter immediately transformed into character - very natural transition

Tonight's Highlights:

• Pre-meeting: Everyone arrived on time, meeting room was set up
• Most Impressive: Toastmaster Bing's pre-meeting investigation + Bella's creative Table Topics design = a tight, memorable night!
• Everyone explained their historical choices - this was the most amazing part of today's meeting!

Feedback for Key Roles:

• Timer (Warren): Did a very good job under pressure. Adjusted rules flexibly - didn't show timing for theme explanations but gave 2 minutes for evaluators' stories. Great model to learn from!
• Ah-counter (Lei): Good job! Zero to five classification saves time in reporting.
• Grammarian (Tina): Excellent language skills. Could help us more to improve expressions.
• Toastmaster (Bing): Made 3 flexible changes during the meeting - gave everyone chance to explain their choices, adjusted speaker order when needed, changed QR code feedback to offline interaction. These changes gave us more interaction!
• TT Evaluators (Cary & Ano): Both used only 3:45 to evaluate 4-5 people - very challenging! Both gave good parts AND improvement suggestions.
• Speech Evaluators (Yue & Joanne): New members doing great! Made lots of preparation, took notes, gave concrete feedback. Very impressed!

Chinese Practice Session

Story Arc:
